Debbie has experience in a variety of creative pursuits in her professional career. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Art in Media Arts from SVA in New York, she began her career as an Art Director for McCann Worldwide. Her work included innovative ad campaigns in print and broadcast for blue-chip clients.

A native New Yorker, Debbie and her husband relocated to the Los Angeles area after a number of years working in the ad business. Building on her foundation as an art director, she went on to earn an Associate of Science degree in Interior Design, feeding her passion for architecture and design. Her path as an interior designer led her to specialize in architectural lighting design, working for a premier lighting company in Orange County, CA. Debbie has honed her craft as a lighting designer for many years, working on high-end luxury residential, hospitality, restaurants, boutique retail, and office projects. Sustainability, a holistic approach to the design/build process and wellness are in the forefront of her approach to lighting design. In her free time, Debbie enjoys growing a food garden, hiking, drawing and painting and playing the violin.
